The Pfiester law firm is a plaintiff personal injury law firm that specializes in all sorts of personal injury and wrongful death cases, always representing the injured individual or family of a loved one against major corporations and/ or insurance companies. This includes auto, premises liability, train wreck, and other cases where persons are injured. We also have a long history of successfully representing injured railroad workers under the special federal law as they have no workers compensation coverage: the Federal Employers Liability Act (F.E.L.A.) And we represented the family of the first Metrolink fatality in 1992 and more passengers injured in every major Metrolink crash since 2002 (Placentia 2002, Glendale 2005, Chatsworth 2008 and Oxnard 2015) where we have always been appointed by the California Superior Courts in a leadership role as Lead Plaintiffs' Counsel and/or Plaintiffs Steering Committee member.

Ed Pfiester leads the firm’s paraprofessionals and other lawyers in working cases up for the best result achievable. In over 25 years of PI and FELA law practice, our law firm has obtained fair and reasonable recoveries for many hundreds of injured railroaders and their families and for others from all walks of life.

Every client has an experienced trial/ personal injury/ FELA attorney, and, as needed, other lawyer or lawyers, an investigator and a paralegal working on their case.

Unlike many other law firms, we prepare all of our cases for trial. Although it's true that most cases settle out-of-court -- even in the best law firms -- we won't hesitate to take a case to trial if a fair settlement is not offered. Over the years we have won many, many substantial verdicts in both state and federal courts.
